Having trouble completing a long-distance call to a rural location?
For Rural Call Completion assistance, please call 833-674-9306 or email us at [email protected]. Please note, if this is about any issue other than completing a call to a rural number, we won't be able to return your call. Please call Customer Care at 1-866-496-9669. Have the following information ready:
- The date and time the call(s) were made or attempted.
- The calling and call telephone numbers.
- If possible, the name of the long-distance or wireless telephone service provider that serves the called number. For any other Phone support issues, again, please contact our Customer Service.
Lifeline Assistance: We're Here To Support You.
Lifeline Assistance is a federal program making home phone and Internet service affordable for low-income households. If you qualify, this program may be able to provide you with a monthly local phone or broadband credit. WOW! is only authorized to provide this credit to residential customers in the following markets: Alabama: Ashford, Cottonwood, Gordon, Lanett, and Valley; Georgia: West Point; Florida: Panama City and Pinellas.

- Are there any restrictions on Lifeline Assistance?
Lifeline is available for one qualifying residential internet or home phone service per household. Your WOW! service account name must match the name of the qualified Lifeline applicant unless the approval is for a dependent in your household. You can only receive Lifeline benefits from one provider at a time. Only eligible customers may enroll in the program.
- Can I use my calling card for international calls with WOW! Home Phone?
Yes, calling cards will work when placing international calls with WOW! phone. However with WOW! you may find lower prices without using your calling card.

- What do I need to know about my WOW! Phone installation appointment?
You, or someone over the age of 18 authorized to sign for the service, must be home for the installation process. A technician will arrive any time within your scheduled installation window. Please plan on the installation lasting a minimum of two hours from the time the technician arrives. The technician will provide you with an advanced modem. Be sure to keep the advanced modem plugged into an electrical outlet that cannot be turned on and off using a light switch in order to avoid service interruptions. For WOW! Phone customers with Ultra TV, the advanced modem is part of the gateway. If you have a home security system, you will need to notify your security company of the date and time scheduled for installation of your WOW! Phone service so that your alarm company can arrange to test your alarm system while our technician is at your home. Our phone service should work with most home alarm systems using tone dialing and standard data communications protocols. In order to avoid any interruption in your phone service, please do not contact your current phone provider to disconnect your service before your WOW! Phone installation is complete. WOW! Phone service (including access to 911) is not available in the event of a power outage. If you would like a back up battery, please contact us to have a battery ordered.
- Can I choose my own long-distance carrier?
Yes. With WOW! Home Phone Plus, unlimited long distance is included in your plan, and our Home Phone package offers 100 minutes of long distance calling and then $0.05/minute thereafter.
- Does WOW! Phone offer voicemail?
Yes, voicemail is included in the WOW! Home Phone and Home Phone Plus. The voicemail feature includes one voice mailbox.
